Terms & Conditions of Sale and Membership
Last updated: 15 October 2026.
Draft — some details on this page are still being completed. Highlighted items will be filled in before this policy is final.
1. Supplier and scope
Services are supplied by Monsieur Darren Turner, Entrepreneur individuel (EI), trading as Darren Turner Skiing, at the address in the Legal Notice. These terms apply to website accounts, memberships, digital content and personal ski assessments bought through [DOMAIN].
2. Products and what is included
Free accounts provide the free features described on the site. DT Ski Hub and DT Ski Hub Plus provide the benefits and personal-assessment allowance, if any, specifically displayed for the selected plan at checkout and in the customer account. No plan includes unlimited direct coaching or guaranteed same-day replies unless expressly stated.
Darren personally reviews customer footage for personal assessments and approves the feedback sent to customers. Digital resources and community features, where available, are separate from a promise of individual attention.
3. Accounts and eligibility
Provide accurate information and keep your sign-in details confidential. Membership is personal and non-transferable. Users must meet the published minimum age; if minors are permitted, the stated parental consent arrangements apply. We may restrict access for misuse after reasonable notice, subject to statutory rights.
4. Orders, prices and payment
The current total price, currency, billing frequency, tax treatment and included services will be displayed before the customer commits to pay. Recurring memberships are billed at the displayed interval through the payment provider. A successful payment does not itself mean an assessment has been submitted; follow the on-screen instructions to upload and submit footage.
5. Renewals, plan changes and cancellation
Paid memberships renew at the interval shown at checkout until cancelled. Customers may cancel through [ACCOUNT CANCELLATION METHOD] or by contacting [SUPPORT EMAIL]. Cancellation normally stops future renewal charges; access to paid features continues until the end of the paid period unless a different lawful arrangement was clearly agreed. Any change in membership pricing will be communicated as required by applicable law and contract terms.
Unused assessment allowances and reserved membership places are handled as stated in the specific plan description and cancellation information presented at purchase: [CONFIRM WHETHER ALLOWANCES EXPIRE, ROLL OVER OR ARE LOST AT CANCELLATION]. Previously delivered personal assessments should remain accessible according to the stated account/retention policy, unless deletion is requested or legally required.
6. Uploads and coaching process
Customers must upload footage they are authorised to share, provide reasonably accurate context and follow the filming guidance. The usefulness of feedback depends on visibility, quality, angle and amount of footage. Darren may request additional or replacement footage where necessary. A replacement requested because of inadequate footage should not automatically require another paid assessment entitlement.
Assessment delivery estimates are [INSERT REALISTIC TIMEFRAME AND EXCEPTIONS]. If a material delay occurs, we will communicate with the customer and respect their legal remedies.
7. Intellectual property and personal licence
Members receive a limited, personal, non-commercial right to access purchased/member content while entitled to it. Do not distribute paid videos, copy assessment templates, share accounts, publicly upload member-only material or circumvent access controls. Personal assessments are provided for the customer’s own use; customers may retain their own assessment subject to third-party rights.
8. Customer footage rights
Customers retain rights in their original footage. By uploading, they grant Darren Turner Skiing a limited licence to store, view, process and use it solely to provide the requested coaching and related support, subject to the Privacy Policy. Public promotional use or testimonials require separate permission.
9. Safety and liability
Skiing involves inherent risks. The separate Ski Coaching Safety Notice forms part of these terms. Remote feedback is not in-person supervision. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights and liability for personal injury where exclusion is prohibited.
10. Availability and complaints
We take reasonable care to maintain the site but cannot promise uninterrupted access. Contact [SUPPORT EMAIL] for complaints. Details of the appointed French consumer mediator appear in the Legal Notice and should be supplied to consumers as required.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections applicable in their country of habitual residence where relevant conflict-of-law rules provide them. Any disputes are subject to applicable consumer jurisdiction rules, not an exclusive forum imposed on consumers.
