The nature of online ski coaching

I personally review the skiing footage you send me and provide feedback intended to help you understand and improve your skiing. This is remote coaching based on selected video clips and the information you provide. It is not the same as me being physically present with you on the mountain.

Your safety comes first

Skiing and snow sports involve significant risks, including falls, collisions and serious injury. Snow, visibility, terrain, speed, equipment, fatigue and other slope users can change conditions quickly. I cannot assess every hazard, your complete physical condition or your ability to carry out a suggestion safely from video alone.

You remain responsible for deciding whether, when and where to try any exercise or technique. Ski within your abilities, follow resort rules and signs, use suitable equipment and protective gear, and stop if conditions or an exercise feel unsafe. Do not attempt unfamiliar drills at speed, on crowded slopes or on terrain beyond your ability. Seek in-person instruction or professional advice when appropriate.

Health and physical readiness

If you have an injury, medical condition, pain or uncertainty about your fitness to ski, obtain advice from a suitable qualified professional before attempting exercises. Online coaching is not medical advice, emergency assistance or a substitute for on-slope supervision.

Responsibility and legal rights

I take reasonable care in providing my coaching. However, I cannot guarantee a particular result or eliminate the risks of skiing, and I cannot control the conditions in which you choose to use my advice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, I am not responsible for harm caused by hazards, decisions or activities outside my reasonable control. Nothing here excludes liability for my own negligence or other liability where exclusion is prohibited, or affects your statutory consumer rights.
